Basic configuration
NOTE
To integrate Hospitality into your business, it is crucial to have support via 1&1 Versatel and a 1&1 Versatel partner.
How the Hospitality connection process works
– Contact your sales representative.
– You will be contacted by an 1&1 Versatel partner who will discuss the requirements of Hospitality for your company with you and an 1&1 Versatel consultant. Based on this evaluation, the consultant will determine your contract type and initiate the configuration.
– The partner will set up your extensions and telephone system with the help of the consultant.
– Subsequently, your telephone devices will be provisioned via the partner and connected to the PMS.
⇒ Hospitality is now coupled with your PMS and the telephone system.
Hint
An 1&1 Versatel representative will contact you to enquire about all configuration-relevant points. The representative will advise you on the contract set-up you require. In all other matters, the selected partner company will assist you.
Creating call tariffs
The call rates charged to the guest can be set individually. You will find a tariff table here, which can be used as it is. It is necessary to submit the tariffs in advance as an Excel spreadsheet to ensure correct billing.
Setting up extensions
In general, there are two ways to create all required extensions:
Partners create extensions on their own and manually.
1&1 Versatel can create the extensions for unprovisioned devices via a consultant for an additional charge.
